South Korean men’s high jumper Woo Sang-hyuk, the “Smile Jumper,” has won a silver medal in the men’s high jump at the World Athletics Federation Rome-Florence 2023 Diamond League.

Woo Sang-hyuk competed in the men’s high jump at the World Athletics Federation (WA) Diamond League Rome-Finland 2023 at the Luigi Ridolfi Stadium in Florence, Italy, clearing 2.30 meters to finish second behind USA’s Jubon Harrison, who cleared 2.32 meters.

Woo got off to a fresh start, clearing 2m 15. His first attempt at 2m 27 failed as he just touched the bar, but he picked himself up and succeeded in his second attempt.

With a first clearance of 2m 30, Woo faced off against defending Diamond League opener Jubon Harrison for the first time in over a month. 토토사이트
