As always, the best of the best in carrier rivalries. KT Rolster and T1, who met in the second round of the playoffs, once again thrilled fans with a nail-biting match that saw them come from behind to tie the series. KT, who were deep in defeat, won the fourth set against T1 to level the match, and now everything will be decided in the fifth set.

KT won the fourth set against T1 in the second round of the ‘2023 LoL Champions Korea (LCK) Summer Season Playoffs at Roll Park in Jongno-gu, Seoul, on Tuesday to tie the series 2-2.

At the beginning of the fourth set, both teams focused on the lane before T1 built their first dragon stack at around the six-minute mark. Meanwhile, KT took the lead when Moon “Curz” Woo-chan picked up the top lane Zeus through the top lane gang. Soon after, KT took the lead in kills when Ryu “Keria” Min-seok picked up the bottom lane.

At around the 9-minute mark, the teams exchanged fire in front of the canyon’s messenger, but KT eventually managed to take it. Around the 12-minute mark, T1 built a second dragon stack, but it was short-lived as they gave up three kills in the ensuing skirmish. T1 pushed on the top side, while KT attacked the bottom. Unlike the previous set, KT took the early lead and widened the gap. The gold was over 4000 in 14 minutes.

A must-win fourth set for KT. At 16-minutes, KT went on a messenger hunt, and T1 tried to stop it, but the gap widened as they got a kill back.

However, in the 17th minute, a massive engagement took place in front of the dragon, and T1 managed to sweep the game with four kills, despite losing the dragon to KT. T1 fought back with hitting focus, and it showed. While KT still had the advantage, this was the moment when T1 redirected the tipping balance of power.

T1’s momentum was short-lived, as a massive engagement in front of the dragon took place again at around 23-minutes, with KT sweeping up four kills and taking the lead. Building on this, KT managed to get a second dragon stack and then a Baron. This led to another massive kill, with KT landing an ace to seal the deal. The kill score was now 18-7 and the narrowing gold gap was now over 10,000 in favor of KT.

With the Baron buff on, KT continued to pressure T1’s mid lane, and when T1 opened up an engagement in the mid jungle, KT landed a second ace. With the momentum in their favor, KT continued to charge into T1’s lane, destroying the nexus and tying the game at 2-2 after 30 minutes. Now it’s down to the long-awaited fifth set to determine who will advance to the third round of the playoffs. 스포츠토토
