Daichi Kamada has finally found a new team.
Lazio announced the news on their website on Thursday, saying, “Kamada has arrived by plane from Frankfurt. After flying from Frankfurt, Kamada has decided to come to the Italian capital,” the club announced. The club also released a photo of his medical test and will soon take an official photo with his jersey.
Kamada was a key player for Frankfurt. He arrived in the 2017-18 season, but failed to make the grade and went on loan to Sint-Truiden. At Sint-Truiden, he acclimatized to Europe and established himself after returning for the 2019-20 season. He had two goals and six assists in 28 games in the German Bundesliga and six goals and two assists in 10 games in the UEFA Europa League (UEL). 스포츠토토
As he began to develop, Kamada came into his own in the 2020-21 season, scoring five goals and providing 13 assists in 32 appearances. He was very versatile. He could play up front, but he could also move to the flanks and center, driving the ball up and creating offense. As you can see from his attacking points, he created a lot of chances. In 2021-22, he added a trophy to his resume as he helped the team win the UEL title, despite having fewer points. In 2022-23, he scored a career-high seven goals in 20 league games and was competitive in the UEFA Champions League (UCL).
His contract with Eintracht Frankfurt expired at the end of last season and there was no news of a re-signing. He has been linked to a number of clubs. Tottenham Hotspur with Son Heung-min and Dortmund with Shinji Kagawa. Benfica, AC Milan, Napoli, and others were also rumored. As the transfer rumors continued, people were curious about Kamada’s destination, but the next team didn’t come out for a long time.
There was a story that he became a duck egg in the Nakdong River. After a long period of invincibility, Kamada was offered by Lazio and headed to Rome. Kamada will play alongside Ciro Immobile, Luis Alberto, Pedro and Felipe Anderson. It will be interesting to see what Kamada can do under Mauricio Sarri.
